Life is Good. Living is Better

Life is Good. Living is Better

Last week my friend, Alex Federiganm took some photos of me Which I decided to use for this post, There a lot of times wherein we feel bored with life (or maybe it's Jut me). It's like a cylce ... or actually it is a cycle: Wake up, Eat, Bath, Eat, Sleep Bath, etc. I mean I guess you can picture it right? We just keep on repeating the same thing over and over again, what makes it so special then? What makes LIFE worth living? I'm not suicidal or anything but I've seen a lot of films lately Which tackled this issue and I thought to myself "Hey, it has not actually be bad to end my life ... Who knows maybe it would even better? "But then I think LIFE NOW's only boring if you MAKE IT boring. If you want to live, you have to break some boundaries and risk something in order to gain something. I'm not asking you to GAMBLE or anything like that, but I am telling you that it's better to try than not trying at all die. I do not like PLANNING things and I'm not saying that's a good thing, but it does make my life a bit surprising. I do not love life, but I do think it's better than having no life at all.

I do not really have a lot to say for this post. Here are the photos:

Also in life, it's better to have experienced drama than not. Atleast you have a story to tell. Atleast you now you're not boring. Atleast you're the same one way or another ..... Atleast now, eventhough my life is boring I can proudly say that I've experienced a lot. Maybe it's karma? Maybe it's destiny? Maybe it's nothing at all. I do not care all I know is that atleast ... I know now what I was and what I want to be.

My SMC Experience in 7

Student Media Congress

Last week I was able to have an opportunity of a lifetime, be a part of the people handling the SMC (Student Media Congress). It was, indeed, a notable experience! I got to meet new people, Become friends with most of them. Everyone was just super fun to be with, to talk to and to hang with. Here are my Top 7 Reasons why I loved my SMC Experience:

PS ALMOST ALL OF THE PHOTOS, except FOR THE SELFIES, ARE TAKEN BY DIFFERENT PEOPLE (MOST OF WHICH ARE OWNED BY SMC and Plaridel)

1 NEW FRIENDS - It's always fun to meet new people! 'm actually planning to join next year's SMC again, hopefully.

The SMC 2014 Family

2 FREE FOOD - YES, did not Spend a penny.
3, TALKS - I heard tons of people with big names talk about THEIR fields and success. Learned a lot and I enjoyed hearing Them talk at the same time.
One of the best speakers ever

4 FIELD WORK - It's sort of a good training for my future. I got to talk and greet people, and try and maintain my temper at its coolest no matter how rude a delegate may be ... IT'S FUN AND HARD (OOOH).
5 NO Classes - Yes, I missed my friends but I got to be excused in one class, now that's a perk.
6 GOT TO SEE LSTV - LSTV, a new org on La Salle had THEIR right before the official launch Unveil

Me doing a "WTH" face

Enjoying the challenge a bit too much

7 UNVEIL - Music + Friends = Best time ever

"When an opportunity comes, grab it"
"Learn thru experience"
"Always smile, it'll get you a thousand miles"

5 Reasons Why It's Fun To Host

What's Fun About Being a Host?

First thing's first, I'm not a professional host. I did not get in to the hosting pool of my other org actually preferred. hahaha!

Hosting with my friend, Thea Garaygay

Me and Thea caught on act: CHILLING.

Can't stop smiling. That face tho

What's fun about it? EVERYTHING! Okay so I know I'm being superficial, but it's true. Hosting with be hard as hell, cause you have to entertain your audience almost all the time, but it's really really fun. It's one of those moments where you just do not want to stop talking so mu cause you're having fun. Well, at first it was so nerve-racking, especially if it's your first time like me. I did not know what to say and I was so conscious about what to say that there were moments that I just stood there waiting for my co-host to say something. Nevertheless, as time passes by and you get to know your audience more, Eventually you'll feel relaxed and ready for more!

1. You get to test your communicating SKILLS - One of the most challenging, yet fun, part about hosting is that it tests your effectiveness to communicate with other people.
2. You get to TALK AS MUCH AS YOU WANT TO - As a host you have to keep on talking to keep the audience alive.
3. You can PLAY WITH THE AUDIENCE (or fool them) - Since your the host, you're not going to play some of the embarrassing yet FUN games that the people behind the event PREPARED. Instead you get to watch and organize it. Who knew the audience were that good ... and making others laugh (that's a good thing)
4. You get to practice SMILING ALL THE TIME - as a host you have to show the audience that you're having fun.
5. You'll MEET A LOT OF PEOPLE - Actually, not just meet people but become friends with them!

Rock-themed Outfits

Rock That Outfit!

I think rock bands are really cool I'm not really a big fan of any. This week, I decided to wear clothes that make me look like a punk rock band or a fan. I dedicate this to my friend who loves to rock Rica with tons of bands all over the world! To everyone, do not be afraid to show your inner weirdness thru your clothes, it's always nice to experiment!

Food is GOOD

What is Yummy?

WARNING: Content may be too drool-worthy for some people.

Like any normal teenager, or human for that matter, in the world, I too love eating! From starters to desert, I'll enjoy every bite and cherish every moment. Do not get me wrong, though, I still see to it that I remain healthy through exercising and dieting (Reminder: Dieting Means eating in a healthy way and not eating less or not at all) My apologies, though, because I can not remember some 'names' of all the tasty and not-your-everyday food I've eaten THIS WEEK. I do, on the other hand, have photos of them which I hope is enough to make you crave for these to-die-for dishes! Enjoy and remember to subscribe! PS All of the photos below are taken by me, using my phone.
